Residential Care Home

Bungay House is a unique and person centred service, that caters for individuals with sometimes complex needs, that require support from our experienced and dedicated staff team. We have 21 bedrooms, 12 of which have ensuite facilities which can be decorated to individual taste. We create a home from home environment for our service users, asking their input in decisions made about their home. 

My career in care began after I left school and worked in several residential homes in the community. In February 2017, I started working at Bungay House as a care assistant and decided this was the home that could support me to progress in my career. 

I oversee and promote the well-being of both care staff and residents, to ensure person centred care is always delivered and at the heart of what we do.  We have recently been rated “Good” in all areas by the CQC and are working towards being rated “Outstanding” at the next inspection. I’m very proud of Bungay house and the warm, home to home environment our experienced staff strive to maintain every day.

At Bungay House we have many in house activities taking place daily, as well as trips out in the community. We  watch theatre shows and spend sunny days at the beach. 

Our residents enjoy helping at local soup mornings, attending local businesses and we also welcome the village church choir into our home.
